VCRD's Community Visit program is a three-month series of public meetings that includes:

Task forces create action plans and work with a Resource Team to identify next steps.
On November 14, Putney community members will come together to discuss assets, challenges, and ideas for their future in 4 in-person forums and a Zoom forum. Topics for discussion were chosen in advance by a steering committee of local leaders and will include: Community Connection and Resilience; Youth, Families, and Aging; Economic Development and Business Vitality; and Housing . The day will also include a free community dinner featuring local musicians. A listening team of federal, state, business, nonprofit and philanthropic leaders will join the forums and dinner. Childcare will be available. Signing up in advance helps us with planning. Please sign-up here. See the notes from the forum discussions here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/az77bgfha1mo60y/PutneyCVNotesCompiled.pdf?dl=0 and the action ideas for prioritization at the December 12th meeting here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2wjlp0qw0ocucb5/PutneyActionIdeas.pdf?dl=0.
Putney community members will come together to review, discuss, and vote to prioritize ideas for action shared in November forums. Through a dot-voting exercise, participants will whittle down a list of action ideas to a few priorities and then sign up to join local task force groups that will move them forward. See the list of priorities chosen for action here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/deuhzzqvhbbjns3/PutneyPriorities.pdf?dl=0.
Putney community members will come together for the final step in the process. The new task force groups will build action plans, set the scope of their work, and meet with a visiting team of resource providers and experts to identify available resources and funding opportunities. From here forward, all action is focused at the local task force level. Join a task force today!
