The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship- is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors each year. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. AES Engineers scholarship- AES Engineering belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluated the essays that are submitted. Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. Elks Most Valuable Scholarship- will award 500 four-year scholarships. Ranging from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. Cooke College Scholars Program – The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. Ohio School Board Association Scholarship- Each year, the Southwest Region of the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) offers at least one $1,000 Ronald J. Diver Memorial Scholarship to a high school senior. I hope that you can share this scholarship opportunity with seniors at your school. To qualify for the scholarship, an applicant must:
Be a graduating senior currently enrolled in a school district whose board is a member of OSBA in the Southwest Region.
Counties in the Southwest Region include: Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Warren.
Have plans to continue their education in an accredited college or university, career-technical school, or technical college.
Applicant must demonstrate community involvement and potential as an educational, business or community leader and competent professional, and present evidence of good character.
While grade point average is included among the award considerations, this award does not require a specific GPA, making it open to a wider range of applicants than some other grants and scholarships
AMP Richard H. Gorsuch Scholarship- This scholarship is open to students whose parents or guardians work for the Village of Versailles. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA. The local deadline to apply is December 2nd. Only one student from Versailles will be nominated. The nominated student will have to complete an additional application and essay.
AMP Lyle B. Wright Scholarship- This scholarship is open to any senior whose family is an AMP (Versailles Electric) customer. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA. The local deadline to apply is December 2nd. Only one student from Versailles will be nominated. The nominated student will have to complete an additional application and essay.
Pioneer Electric is proud to offer its Technical/Trade School Scholarship Program to children of members who live in a home served by the cooperative. Pioneer will award up to a $1,000 scholarship to high school seniors pursuing technical/trade school education.*
Requirements
Applicants must be the child or legal ward of an active member and live primarily in a home served by Pioneer.
In the case of rental properties, the person who has the active service in their name at the time of the competition is the active member.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who have all the basic credits for acceptance to an accredited technical college, trade school, or community college to obtain an associate degree, diploma, or certificate.
Examples include, but are not limited to, dental hygiene, vet tech, electrician, HVAC, plumbing, auto mechanics, welding, machinists, or lineworkers.
Applicants must have a GPA above 2.5 on a 4.0 scale OR equivalent standing on a nontraditional scale.

Selection Process
Applicants will be randomly drawn to receive a scholarship. Money will be disbursed following confirmation of Technical/Trade School program enrollment.**

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship- High school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2026 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides college-bound students with $10,000 renewable scholarships – up to $40,000 total per recipient – and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond. The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides four-year scholarships of $30,000 and extensive support services, including career guidance and internship placement, to highly motivated African American students. Washington Crossing Foundation- Scholarships of $500 to $5,000 for students planning careers in government service, for study at the college of the recipient's choice. Competition open to all high school seniors who are U. S. citizens and are planning careers of service to the United States in local, state, or federal government. United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Application- Eligibility: Graduating high school seniors in the United States, where that state has an active JCI Senate program (see www.usjcisenate.org [under scholarship tab] for a listing of eligible states). You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this scholarship. Each year (April) $1,000 grants will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the United States, who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. The number of grants awarded annually will be at the discretion of the United States JCI Senate Foundation. The monies must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. Deadline to apply is Jan 12th.
DDWGA Collegiate Scholarship Application - Since 1996, the Dayton District Women's Golf Association have provided grants to deserving females connected to the game of golf in the Greater Dayton Area for use in advancing their academic career. Ohio Township Association Scholarship- Three $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior who resides in an Ohio township and plans to attend a two or four-year Ohio college or university in the fall of 2024. SME Education Foundation- For more than 40 years, the SME Education Foundation has been a leader in supporting the next generation of manufacturing and engineering talent. Our scholarship program awards millions of dollars to hundreds of graduating high school seniors and current college students pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in technical fields that directly support manufacturing.
With more than 60 distinct scholarship programs, the Foundation provides merit and need-based scholarships, issues renewing and one-time awards, and seeks applications from all eligible students, including but not limited to young women and underrepresented communities. The Foundation has awarded 18 million to over 5,000 future industry leaders since 2005 and awards nearly a million dollars in scholarships each year.
Scholarship applications are accepted annually from November 1 – February 1. By submitting one application, you will be considered for every scholarship for which you are eligible. Elks Legacy Awards – The Legacy Awards program begins on September 1, 2025. Legacy Awards provide $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of dues-paying Elk members. Midmark Technical Scholarship- As part of our commitment to supporting the next generation of technical innovators, we’re pleased to announce that applications will be open on November 1st for the Midmark Technical Scholarship. Midmark will be awarding three $10,000 technical scholarships + 2 paid co-op opportunities, one $5,000 Technical Scholarship + 1 paid co-op opportunity, and one $2,500 award for a 2026 graduate who plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the following fields:

Sunrise Cooperative Scholarship- The Sunrise Cooperative $1,000 College Scholarships are one year in length and are open to all children and grandchildren of Sunrise Cooperative common stockholders, or all children and grandchildren of active full-time Sunrise Cooperative employees who are enrolling or are currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year accredited college program. IU East Scholarships Counselors Scholarship
I have scholarships for IU East available for VHS seniors who are thinking about attending IU East next year. The scholarships range from a full ride to $7,000. These scholarships are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see Mrs. Ahrens on or before Feb 10 if you are interested in receiving one.
Full Ride Scholarship- $34,000 - Requirements: Cumulative GPA 3.75 AND ACT score of 29 or SAT score of 1360 (math and evidence-based reading and writing)
Pursuit of Excellence $20,000- Requirements: Cumulative GPA 3.5 AND ACT score of 26 or SAT score of 1270 (math and evidence-based reading and writing)
Scholars Award $14,000- Requirements: Cumulative GPA 3.3 AND ACT score of 25 or SAT score of 1220 (math and evidence-based reading and writing)
Greenville Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) Club Scholarship- BPW is pleased to offer eight (8) $1,500 Educational Scholarships and one (1) $500 Anna Britton Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year. Applicants for the Educational Scholarship must be a female senior student in the upper one third of her graduating class. Applicants for the Anna Britton Scholarship must be a female senior student who is the daughter or granddaughter of a current active BPW member.
PROCESS:
An average of 12-15 finalists will be selected from the submitted applications of all high schools in Darke County, Ohio. These finalists are invited to attend our BWP Club meeting on March 23rd. Location to be determined. Please reserve this date and check your email for notifications. At the March 23 meeting, finalists will join us for dinner then should be prepared to present a three minute speech about herself, her goals for the future, and why she is worthy of receiving the scholarship. Following the prepared presentations, each finalist will be asked to answer an impromptu question. The ladies will then be notified by e-mail of the results of the judging.

Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO) scholarships are offered to outstanding high school and college students throughout Ohio who desire careers in engineering. The scholarships are sponsored by EFO in conjunction with the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE-Ohio) and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).

To be eligible to apply for these scholarships, a student must meet all of the following criteria:

· meet the minimum SAT (Math=600, Reading or Composition=500) or ACT (Math=29, English=25) test scores as set by the National Society of Professional Engineers; &
· be a citizen of the United States and a permanent resident of the State of Ohio. The application deadline is February 15 at 5:00 PM.
Minster Dental Care- Minster Dental Care is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to graduating high school seniors from our local communities. Two $1000 scholarships will be competitively awarded based on the following guidelines: Candidate must be an active patient of Minster Dental Care, enrolled in a 4-year college, pursuing a degree in a dental or medical field, GPA of a 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, ACT score of 23 or higher / SAT score of 1000 or higher, and candidate must demonstrate strong academic achievement, extracurricular participation, church and community service, and seriousness of intent. Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award- The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award Program was established by the Ohio Education Service Center Association (OESCA) to promote and recognize outstanding academic achievement. One senior from each county in Ohio will receive this annual honor. Applications can be found in the school counseling office or in the senior google classroom. Applications are due to Mrs. Ahrens by February 27th.
The Wayne HealthCare Foundation is proud to provide scholarships for the students of Darke County pursuing a degree in the medical and health-related fields. In 2024 $21,000 in scholarships were awarded. Applicants can apply for the Foundation scholarship twice, once as a graduating high school student and once as a college student continuing their education. Applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2026, through March 1, 2026. Applications submitted outside of this timeframe will not be considered.
Eligible students must be pursuing studies in human health science or medical science programs.
Eligible students must be Darke County residents or residents of our surrounding service area.
Eligible students must have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Greenville Firefighters Local 1101 Scholarship- Up to two $500 awarded. Must be pursuing a career in public safety (Fire, Police, EMS, or emergency communications) OR a child of an active Firefighter in Darke County graduating in 2026. Tina Gillespie Memorial Scholarship- This scholarship was established in 2025 in memory of Tina Marie (Frantz) Gillespie, who was a 1986 graduate of Versailles High School. Tina was a member of cross country and track teams, drama club (president), French club, art club, Varsity V, National Honor Society, college club, math and science club, and chorus. She was a recipient of the Copeland Scholarship, which allowed her to attend Wright State University, where she was selected as co-op student of the year during her senior year while interning with the Inter-American Trade Corporation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and later earned a master’s degree in supply chain and logistical analysis. After college she established herself as a highly impactful, irreplaceable employee as a supply chain analyst for American Honda, Elder-Beerman, Evenflo and Gibson Greetings. She was a tireless worker, quick and effective problem solver and constant supporter of her fellow employees. Tina’s greatest quality was her relentless passion for helping and supporting others. She was very active in the St. Peter parish in Huber Heights where she assumed many leadership roles her kids’ activities and supported numerous charitable outreach efforts in southwest Ohio. The Tina Gillespie Memorial Scholarship was created with the goal of continuing to provide hardworking, ambitious, fearless students from Versailles High School the additional support necessary to maximize their gifts, take full advantage of their opportunities, attack their dreams and ultimately devote their lives in service to others. Applicants must: be a graduating senior from Versailles High School, be accepted to a two- or four-year college or university or technical school, and demonstrate community service.
Financial need will be considered if all else is equal. Preference will be given to female, first generation college students planning to attend Wright State University. Ruth and Emerson Booher Scholarship Fund- Three $1,000 renewable scholarships will be awarded to Versailles High School graduating seniors who plan on attending an accredited four-year college or university in Ohio. To apply visit: https://www.daytonfoundation.org/getting-started . Students will need a transcript, letter of recommendation, FAFSA Electronic Student Aid Report, and a resume. The application deadline is March 6, 2026 at 4:00 pm.
Rumpke Darke County Scholarship- Open to graduating seniors in Darke County, Ohio pursuing a two or four year degree at an accredited institution, including vocational/ trade schools, after graduation. Dependents of Rumpke employees are not eligible for this scholarship. This is a $2.500 non-renewable scholarship. Applications are available in the senior google classroom and guidance office. The deadline to apply is March 6, 2026.
The WPAFB Educational Fund is offering scholarship opportunities to Children and grandchildren of current Active-Duty Military or Civilian Employees at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Students must be graduating high school seniors with a cumulative 3.5 GPA, and students must have a minimum score of 27 on their ACT or 1200 on their SAT Standardized tests. Darke Soil & Water Conservation: Douglas Steinbrunner Memorial -
The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage promising students to enter the fields of agriculture or natural resources and to prepare them for such a career through an organized program of study at an Ohio college or university. This scholarship is awarded in memory of Doulas Steinbrunner and his more than 30 years of service to the Darke Soil and Water Conservation District.
QUALIFICATIONS - Applications will be accepted from students meeting the following qualifications:
1. A 2025 graduate of a Darke County public or private high school,
2. At the time of application, applicant must have a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent,
3. Planning to enroll full-time at a two or four-year Ohio college, technical school or university in Fall 2025,
4. Planning to pursue degree in an agricultural or natural resource related field.
5. Financial need is NOT a consideration for this scholarship.
Completed applications must be received at the Darke SWCD office by 4:00 pm on April 17, 2026.
The Two-Hour Delay Scholarship- In effort to promote awareness regarding the impacts of impaired driving, this scholarship is being offered in Barb Knapke’s memory, of Versailles, whose life was cut tragically short on a foggy morning in 2006 due to a vehicle accident that stemmed from an impaired driver colliding with Mrs. Knapke’s car on her= way home from work – a morning in which many local schools were operating on a Two-Hour Delay.
Scholarship Eligibility Applicant Must: Be a graduating senior from one of the following High Schools – Fort Loramie, Marion Local, Minster, New Bremen, Russia, St. Henry, Versailles. Be enrolling in Higher Education Institution (College/University, Community College, Career Tech School, etc) Recipient Responsibility and Honor: Scholarship recipients are expected to promote responsibility & safety when making decisions regarding the operation of motor vehicles as it pertains to the consumption of alcohol for not only themselves, but also those that surround them.
