~Hey-hey from Margo!
Margo is the Associate Director of Early Childhood. She is a long-time resident at the T/TAC and began her journey providing special education services to young children in early childhood settings in a local school district. Margo brings creativity and innovative thinking to help teams support their students. She is passionate about empowering teachers to design welcoming, inclusive spaces where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
When she's off the job, Margo adores a good house project, spending time with family, or hangin' with hubby listening to music. She loves finding used book-stores or, like her pals, discovering digs that serve a fantastic cup of jo.

~Introducing Bre!
Bre is an Itinerant Early Childhood Special Education teacher with over 15 years of experience serving students in inclusive public school classrooms. She began her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant and is dedicated to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student participation and success across developmental domains throughout the school day.
Outside of her professional practice, Bre enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new coffee shops, and attending live music performances.

Kathleen is a certified Speech Language Pathologist with over 27 years of experience serving students with diverse backgrounds from ages 2 to 22 in the public school setting. She is passionate about collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create high-quality, inclusive learning environments that support young children’s language, early literacy, and social-emotional development, with a particular emphasis on embedding augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT) in early childhood classrooms. Kathleen holds certification from the American Speech- Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
When she’s not working, Kathleen loves exploring the outdoors with her family—whether in the mountains or at the beach—and discovering local spots for a good cup of coffee.

On the first Monday of each month, beginning in October, we offer 3 strategies & resources to promote young children’s development of social/emotional skills or little nuggets of insight to support interferring behavior. Please share this announcement with early childhood teachers and staff and encourage them to sign up!
