About Me

Hello, I am Tao,  a second year Ph.D. student at Virginia Tech studying Applied Economics. My research interests include food economics, development economics, and international trade issues.

Before my Ph.D. study, I have studied and worked in China, Germany, Japan, Luxembourg and the United States. I received my Master in Economics from University of Cologne in 2021 and Bachelor in Economics from Xiangtan University in 2017.
