Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) - Rural Development, USDA
The USDA Rural Development offers the REAP program for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for farms and rural small businesses. The program offers competitive grant funds (through the Inflation Reduction Act, 2022 (pg. 42) the grant funds can cover up to 50% of eligible project costs) and subsidized loans. Virginia Agricultural Incentives - DCR/SWCD
The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) and the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD) offer a variety of cost-share programs for agricultural practices.
