Short Bio
Daniel is an Applied Scientist @ AWS Proactive Security. Before Amazon, he was a Security Researcher with Baidu Research Silicon Valley. He earned a Ph.D. from the ECE Dept of Virginia Tech, co-advised by Dr. Chao Wang (USC) and Dr. Michael Hsiao (Virginia Tech). He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Wuhan University, both in Software Engineering. His research interests include program analysis, software security, and cloud security.
