Description
The Open Water Course is set up to teach each student the fundamental knowledge, skills, and safety procedures to dive recreationally on open circuit SCUBA to a maximum depth of 60 feet. The course is divided into 5 sections, all of which must be attended and passed for completion of this certification.

Typical Schedule:
Week Prior: E- Learning - Must be completed before Day 1
Day 1 Monday:
Remote Classroom Session: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Day 2 Tuesday:
Gear Fitting: 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Pool 1 and Float Test: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Day 3 Thursday:
Pool Session: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Day 4 Friday:
Classroom Session: 5:00pm - 8:00Pm
Day 5 Saturday:
All Day: 3 Checkout Dives - Location: Gray Quarry
Day 6 Sunday:
Morning: Last Checkout Dive - Local Dive Site
Afternoon: Opportunity to dive with certified members
Important: the membership dues, class fees, and the signed learning agreement are due 2 weeks before the class begins

The other two forms are not needed until you arrive for the class, but we also need the physical copy of the learning agreement when you arrive as well
Important: the class cannot take place until three or more people are signed up (if you have already paid and the class cannot continue, you will get a full refund)
