For me Engineering has always been about problem solving and learning new skills. As an undergrad, I was into materials characterization and design, developing novel textured steel rods and continuous casting mold powders. In graduate school studied further materials optimization by dimensional control and quantum physics. For my PhD in Graphene, I am continuously faced with challenges in making novel equipment and techniques for manufacture and testing, and integrating Informatics and Data Science in materials development.
It is these challenges that keep me going.
Fascinated by the possibilities of the future. Keen to make my mark.
