Knowledge Contests

• Northwest District Horse Bowl and Hippology Contest - March 7, 2026. GW Carver Center, Rapidan, VA; Contacts: Bertha Durbin and Carrie Swanson (Horse Bowl);  Hannah McDonald (Hippology)

• NO District level communication contest is scheduled at this time. To qualify for Equismartz, the 4-Her must win a Blue Danish from any unit or county contest for public speaking, presentations, or team presentations.

Qualifying Horse Shows

Horsemanship Skills Testing

Levels 1 & 2 Skills testing will be available at each of the District Qualifying Shows listed above.
