About Me
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Business, Government, and Economics at Seattle Pacific University. I specialize in Applied Econometrics, Time Series Analysis, Development Economics, and Agribusiness.
I enjoy helping students connect economic ideas to the choices they make every day, from how they spend their time and money to how global events shape the prices they see at the store. My goal in the classroom is to make economics approachable, engaging, and something students can carry with them long after the course ends.
In my research, I specialize in Applied Econometrics, Time Series Analysis, and Development Economics. My current research focuses on how econometric models and time series data can help us understand the forces behind food commodity prices.
Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, driving, traveling, hiking, and playing sports. I also love following just about every sport.
