The camp fee includes meals and lodging for five days and four nights, a camp T-shirt, and supplies. As noted on the class page, a nominal fee is required in some cases. Youth may also wish to bring cash for the camp bank to use at the pool snack bar, but that's optional.
We must receive a $200 deposit or scholarship application within 5 business days of your online registration to secure your spot. The remainder of your camp fee is due by May 31. You are also welcome to pay in full at the time of your registration. Donations to our scholarship fund are always appreciated and can be made as an add-on to your camp fee.

Refund Policy
If camp is cancelled by Virginia Cooperative Extension, the 4-H Center management, or the state or federal government, fees will be fully refunded. If, for medical reasons, youth are not admitted into camp, a refund minus the required deposit will be provided. Notification for medical withdrawal must be made between 2 weeks prior to and up to the day of camp, and a medical professional's note may be required. If youth have to leave camp once they have checked in due to an exposure, a partial refund will be prorated and granted. Refunds for anything other than the medical reasons (as stated above) will not be granted after the May 31, 2026, deadline.
Scholarships may be awarded to campers and depend on donations received, and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. All scholarship requests are due at your Extension office with other registration forms. Your county Extension staff will communicate the amount due and the payment deadline once scholarship forms are reviewed.
Please submit your Scholarship Application within 5 business days of filling out your camp registration so that we can secure a spot for you. After receiving your request, we will be in touch to let you know if we can approve your scholarship request and what amount you should send in for your final camp payment.
