COLLECTING OBSERVATIONS & DATA ENCODING FOR THE GEOSCIENCES

A week-long coding camp for undergraduate students from underrepresented groups in STEM with little to no coding experience, but who want to learn! Participants gain fundamental coding skills that are applied to real-world volcanic hazards assessment.

The 2024 CODE-GEO Program was held 4-8 March 2024 in-person at the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. Applications are now closed, but will open again for a 2025 CODE-GEO program in late 2024.
