Co-Teaching

"How is what we are doing together substantively different,  and  better for students, than what we would do alone? "

     Murwaski and Lochner, 2014

Welcome to  Co-Teaching!

Co-Teaching is a service delivery option

where 2 or more educators

a group of students with diverse needs in the same general education classroom (Murwaski & Dieker, 2013).

Relationships are the foundation for co-teaching. They are built using communication skills, defining roles and responsibilities and establishing parity.

"No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship."

Dr James Comer
