Flight Information

FYI--we fly into Milan Malpensa (MXP) but we fly out of Rome Fiumicino (FCO)

June 12th

depart IAD 3:36 pm on Delta 5042 to JFK, and then Delta 7475 from JFK at 8:30 pm to MXP, arriving 10:40 am next day (June 13th)

June 27

depart FCO at 9:30 am on Delta 6677 to IAD, arriving 1:30 pm.

Students are not required to travel with us and can fly separately on different airlines both to Milan and then home from Rome. This might work out for you if you have frequent flyer miles or any other way to save on the fare.

But if you want to be on our chartered bus from Milan Malpensa to Riva, you must arrive in Milan Malpensa around or before the same time as us. The chartered bus from Milan Malpensa to Riva San Vitale, Switzerland will take about 40 minutes. We will meet outside baggage claim in Milan Malpensa Terminal 1 on the arrivals floor (ground level). We will also have a chartered bus take us from the hotel in Rome on June 27th to the Rome FCO airport, leaving the hotel around 6:00 am.

Alternative flights:

We have a couple student traveling on different flights on June 12th: one is on Delta 172 from JFK at 5:36 pm, arriving Milan 7:55 am on 6/13. Another is flying IAD to Milan via Frankfurt. On June 27th these two are flying from Rome Fiumicino FCO on United flight 43 departing at 9:45 am and arriving Dulles IAD at 1:30 pm. Other students have other flights or plans to stay in Rome.
