Medication
If your child will need to bring medication to camp, please make sure that the medication is in the original container and checked in with a
4-H Event Medication Form at arrival. The camp must follow the dosing instructions on the bottle. If the dosing instructions on your medication form are different from what is listed on the bottle, please provide a letter from the physician.
If your child needs to carry an inhaler or an epi-pen on them at all times, the 4-H Center requires that you bring two - one to check in with the camp nurse and one that your child can carry on them.
Campers should arrive at the 4-H Center during their designated time on Sunday, July 16th. Registration will be a DRIVE THRU process this year. You will NOT enter the 4-H Center through main entrance. You will enter through the rec field entrance and circle by the stables. Staff will be directing traffic. Please do not arrive prior to the times as we cannot accept responsibility for campers arriving before that time. Parents will NOT be allowed in the lodges.
Check-out will be the same drive thru process. You will arrive, provide your photo identification (driver’s license) for verification, sign for your camper(s), then be provided with a card to provide to the staff member at the lodge. Parents will NOT be allowed in the lodges. All campers must be signed out by their parent/guardians (or another name listed on their release authorization) prior to leaving the 4-H Center. Campers will only be released to those names listed on their health history form (release authorization) this includes parents/guardians. If you need to make changes to the names listed on the release forms please notify Stacy or Claudia at check-in on Sunday. Parent(s) names must be included on the release forms; we cannot release a child to someone whose name is not listed! This policy is to help ensure your child’s safety.
