Competence Development: Are you leveraging the potential of real-world applications to enhance agricultural content knowledge? The most recent issue of The Agricultural Education Magazine focused on “Skill/Competence Development in School-Based Agricultural Education,” and the opening article addresses that very question.
Teaching Skills That Matters: The Teaching the Skills That Matter (TSTM) project supports adult education with resources for transferable skill development. The TSTM Toolkit includes open educational resources developed by adult education experts and includes a section specific to Workforce Preparation. How might you incorporate these resources into your work?

Higher Education Pedagogy: The Conference on Higher Education Pedagogy showcases the best pedagogical practice and research in higher education today. Sessions address disciplinary and interdisciplinary instructional strategies, outcomes, and research. The conference is scheduled for February 12-14, 2025, in Blacksburg VA; and discounted registration rates are available through November 30th.
