Teen Club starts October 12th!
Teen Club is getting started this fall! The club will focus on leadership, friendship, community, and building up life skills! Teens will help decide the topics of the club based on their interests and passions.
Teen club will meet every 2nd Sunday of the month starting October 12, 2025.
Join other youth to learn about nature through hands-on activities! Build your leadership, community service, and public speaking skills, while making new friends!
Previous activities have included: Night hikes, bug pinning, biodegradable bird feeders, and participating in local competitions!
Interested in a Different Club Topic? Help Start a New 4-H Club!
Can't find clubs or programs in town or school that you're interested in? Start your own 4-H Club! 4-H Clubs can be about almost anything -- photography, cooking, skateboarding, finances, gardening, leadership, etc. 4-H is all about finding your spark and building you up!
Club topics generally fall into 4 categories: STEM, Agriculture, Civic Engagement, or Healthy Living, but they can really be about almost anything! Clubs can have a one topic focus, or cover various topics.
To start a new club, reach out to your 4-H Agent (contact information on the Join 4-H page). You'll need at least 5 interested youth and 2 adults willing to support the club, but your 4-H Agent can help you with recruitment.
4-H Camp is the highlight of the summer! We are pleased to offer a safe, fun, and unforgettable overnight camp for Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria (FAA) youth. At camp, youth make new friends from the area, participate in camp classes each day, and enjoy swim and recreation time. For more details, visit the FAA Camp website.
Youth get to participate in 4-H through in-school enrichment programs. 4-H staff collaborate with teachers and other educators to enhance in-school education experiences. Examples include embryology and gardening programs.
4-H partners with the City of Alexandria's Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities (RPCA) staff to supplement their Out of School Time Programs. Youth are engaged in monthly theme-based activities during RPCA's afterschool programs, based in the city's Recreation Centers.
