VIRGINIA TECH FACES OFF AGAINST MIAMI

BLACKSBURG, Va. — Virginia Tech (5-4, 1-2 ACC) faces off against Miami (3-4, 2-1) on Sunday to continue conference play.


The Hokies are coming off of back-to-back losses to Wake Forest and N.C. State. The Hurricanes are echoing the same story, losing their last two matches to Florida Gulf Coast and No. 4 UVa.


In the ITA rankings, Mitch Harper of the Hokies is currently ranked No. 47, while Miami boasts Adria Soriano Barrera at No. 39. Tech is sitting at No. 9 in the ACC and Miami is No. 3, both eager to climb in the standings.


The last time the two teams met on April 5, 2019, the Hurricanes came out with a 4-3 victory.


It will be an interesting matchup with both schools fighting to find a spark for their respective teams.
