About 3304 Sports

3304 Sports is Virginia Tech's multi-media online platform for student-sports journalism, published in Blacksburg, Virginia. The club was first introduced in the spring of 2019. The editoral and broadcast content of 3304 Sports is entirely student-run with little oversight from the university.

3304 Sports's online coverage is 24/7, even when VT is on winter, spring and summer break.

Our Mission

Through the Virginia Tech School of Communication, 3304 Sports exists to serve our readers and viewers by gathering and sharing factual, relevant information with diligence and care. Through independent student-journalism, we strive to share truthful, accurate and fair stories from the Virginia Tech and VT Athletics community. As an entirely student-run club, 3304 Sports also aims to be a place where students can learn and gain experience in reporting, editing, broadcasting and podcasting across textual, visual and audio platforms.
