BLACKSBURG, VA — No. 39 Virginia Tech (6-4, 2-2) will face Florida State (6-5, 0-3) on Tuesday at home at 2:30 p.m. in an attempt to secure consecutive ACC wins.

The Hokies are still running on momentum built from Sunday's 5-2 victory over then-No. 39 Miami, which included ranked wins for Matthis Ross and Ryan Fishback. With the matchup being at home, Tech looks to use the home-team advantage to rack up another ACC win. The Hokies have not lost a match in Blacksburg since the season began, posting a 5-0 record at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

On the other side of the net, the Seminoles are 0-1 away from home and just dropped a loss to the Hokies’ in-state-rival UVA, losing 4-0. Florida State is home to two ranked players, No. 77 Alex Knaff and No. 108 Rana-Roop Singh Bhular.

The last time the opponents met was April 7, 2019 in Tallahassee, Fla., resulting in a 4-3 loss for the Hokies.

With both schools hosting ranked players, it will be an eventful day on the courts.
