As March nears closer and closer, the games grow with more and more anticipation. 3304 Sports will have full coverage of the four major college basketball games, two on the men’s side, two on the women’s, two in Blacksburg and two on the road. 

First, the men’s team returns to Cassell Coliseum this Tuesday, as Virginia Tech invites Florida State for a rematch of their earlier season matchup in Tallahassee. The Seminoles narrowly defeated the Hokies in the Sunshine State 77-74 back in early January. Tech and Florida State will tip at 9 p.m. ET.

Two days later on the women’s side of things, No. 12 Virginia Tech hosts a rematch of its own, when it takes on Duke on Thursday in Blacksburg. The Hokies have won their past seven in a row. Their last loss? To the same Duke team they’ll play at 8 p.m. inside Cassell Coliseum. 

Flipping to the weekend slate, the men travel to Chapel Hill to take on No. 3 North Carolina, giving the Hokies a massive opportunity for a quadrant one victory. This will be the first time these two squads have squared off this season, as the last time they faced off, Tech took down the Tar Heels 80-72 on Dec. 4, 2022 inside Cassell Coliseum.

Sunday, the women will venture to the KFC Yum! Center for one of their toughest battles of the season. It’s a clash of ranked opponents as Virginia Tech takes on No. 18 Louisville. Not only are ACC standings on the line, but this is also a rematch of the 2023 ACC Championship Game, where the Hokies beat the Cardinals 75-67 to win their first conference title in program history.
