2027 M.E.G 4-H Camp

June 7-11, 2027

at Jamestown 4-H Center for youth from Gloucester, Essex, and Middlesex.

We are looking forward to a terrific week at Jamestown 4-H Educational Center, and will begin training our camp counselors soon. 4-H Camp is a terrific opportunity for youth to learn citizenship, leadership, and life skills through hands-on experiences while making lasting friendships and enjoying a fun-filled week on the James River. Campers enjoy being part of a larger group and participating in campfires, recreation, and classes which may include archery, dance, canoe, kayak, swimming, cooking, arts and crafts, music, outdoor living skills, challenge course, marine science, camp sports, gau-gau, and more! Campers must have reached age 9 by September 30, 2027, and not reached their 14th birthday before January 1, 2027. Youth who are 14 before January 1 may apply to attend camp as a counselor. An application, Interview and training are required

Youth aged 13 before January 1 may enroll as a camper and/or attend camp as a counselor in training (CIT). A separate application will be sent to attend as a CIT after normal registration. The camp fee stays the same.
