4-H Camp Packet for Registered Campers
Please complete by May 21
2024 CAMP PACKET
4-H Online houses your child(s) important information, such as health history and Emergency Contacts. You will also sign their Code of Conduct, pickup permissions, and Media Release to give permission for pictures to be taken during our camp week. Your camper cannot attend camp if they are not enrolled in 4-H Online.
*Please be sure to complete the Pickup permissions question. If you have completed enrollment already please take a look at that question to ensure you have completed it.
If your camper will be bringing prescribed medication or over-the-counter medication with them to camp please complete a Medication Form (if you have not already uploaded to 4-H Online) and email to hajohnson@vt.edu. This includes inhalers and epi-pens. Also print a copy to bring with your medication at camp drop off.
Remind is a mobile app/texting service that allows us to send out important information to all parents during and leading up to camp without having to individually contact each family. You can sign up within the Remind App or use the text feature by texting the group code @24camp4h to 81010.
If your camper(s) have a cabin mate they would like to request please complete this form. Both campers need to request each other. We do our best to accommodate each request but cannot guarantee. Notifications of cabinmates will not be made prior to camp.
Mail delivery to camp is a very slow process. We suggest sending any mail the week before your camper checks into camp. Please do not send money or food to your camper.
