We are pleased to be able to release Performance Assessments created VaSCL Test Bank Work Groups this year for STEM.

The Performance Assessment Task Bank team was trained by Leads who attended the Performance Assessment Institute (PAI). The PAI process was used to create performance assessments in the VSUP-VaSCL Task Bank. Please visit the VaSCL Performance Assessment Training presentation for additional information about the PAI process.

The Performance Assessment team values your feedback. We would greatly appreciate your taking few minutes to complete the Performance Assessment Feedback Form if you use any of the assessments with your students. Your feedback will be used to revise performance assessments. If you provide your email address when you submit your Feedback Form, you will be contacted to determine the amount of re-certification credit that you are eligible to receive for your time and effort.

Teachers who are willing to share samples of student work and scored rubrics (only one sample for each of the levels on the rubric) with the task bank team must use the parent Parent Release Form . Student work is used for training purposes only.

All shared student work samples MUST be submitted either in person, digitally (Lscallet@vascl.org) or US mail to Liza Scallet (P.O. Box 68, Batesville, VA 22924) no later than March 1, 2019.
