The Valley Park Gifted Education Program is designed to meet the advanced academic and unique affective needs of identified gifted learners in grades 1–8. Our curriculum provides an enriched and accelerated learning environment that goes beyond the standard grade-level curriculum, fostering intellectual growth and personal development.

In alignment with the Valley Park School District's mission, our program aims to prepare students holistically for limitless opportunities. We achieve this by structuring all learning experiences around the six core domains of the Missouri Portrait of a Gifted Learner. Our instruction uses advanced content and a variety of teaching strategies to develop the skills identified in the Portrait of a Gifted Learner . Students engage in units of study where academic content serves as a structure for developing these high-level processes.
