The Valley Park Secondary Library Media Center is a place where everyone belongs, your ideas matter, and innovation is present and encouraged.
The expectations focus on our best selves, how we can simply BE.
BE Present - you have the time and space, so be present in the moment and use it wisely
BE Honest - it is the best policy and things happen - so if you have lost a book, damaged something, spilled something, just let me know and we will work it out
BE Kind - everyone should feel safe and valued in the LMC space and in life in general. Maybe quiet is the best path to choose if one can not be kind.
BE Respectful - Respect should be earned by all. We know what it looks like, and should use common sense in using it.
BE Yourself - Albert Einstein explains this expectation the best, "In a world where you can be anything, be yourself."
