September 16 - 20, 2024

Accelerated Math:

This week we took a quiz over integers, rational numbers on numbers lines, and absolute value. Grades are in Infinite Campus, students are always able to make corrections for 1/2 credit back on all quiz/tests. We also started one of the 7th grade standards, integer rule operations. We added and subtracted integers and will have a quiz on Wednesday over these rules. 

  6 Math:

This week we continued to practiced dividing fractions.  We will have a test over Topic 1 on Tuesday, 9/24. Topic 1 is over decimal operations and multiply and divide fractions. 

Reading

In Reading, students have begun looking into the digital platform on Amplify and continued C.E.R. practice.

Writing

In Writing, students have continued in our parts of speech with Verbs. The quiz on Verbs will be Monday.

This week we learned about organelles and conducted a bacteria experiment. Next week we will get our first patient to diagnose as we start to learn about body systems.
