Late Work Policy/Classroom Absences
Virtual Attendance
All virtual students are required to sign in on that day's sign in form in Google Classrooms and complete the listed material daily. Failure to sign in will be counted as an absence.
Late Submissions
In order to submit late work, the student must fill out an extension request (found in their Google Classroom under the 'Classwork' tab) explaining why they were unable to complete the assignment on time.
Students who miss classwork due to an absence are responsible for accessing that day's materials and assignments on Google Classroom. They must submit late work through an extension request (file will be submitted through the form) by Monday of the next week.
Rescheduling Tests
All tests are announced at least 3 days in advance. Unit test dates are announced and reannounced from the beginning of the unit, onward. If a student will be absent on a test date, they are responsible for rescheduling with me. This can be done through the test rescheduling form available through the assignments tab on our Google Classroom.
