The Word of the Week was everywhere! One of KHS' focus this year is growing Vocabulary.  Each week we will spotlight a different word and teachers have been challenged to relate that word to their content.  Last week's word was Infer, ask your student about the Word of the Week!

Last week our 10th and 11th Graders took the Practice ACT test.  This test is required by the state for all students.  This Practice ACT is used as part of our data to help students grow.  

KHS also celebrated with our first PBIS party, playing Spooky Dodgeball!

Vermilion Parish College and Career Fair was on campus on Wednesday, schools from around the parish visited.

Thursday, our Civics classes had the opportunity to witness the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.  KHS would like to thank Judge Perry for providing our students with this excellent learning opportunity.

Friday, our students celebrated Vermilion Parish students at Special Olympics.
