Hello! My name is Sarah Bendson. This is my third year teaching in Verndale and my 13th year teaching Kindergarten overall. I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead (go, Dragons!) in 2009 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2014 I earned my master's degree at Concordia University St. Paul, also in Early Childhood Education. 

My beautiful family includes my husband, Ross, and my three step-children Briana, Brooke, and Logan. In my spare time I enjoy running, rock climbing, working out, traveling, reading, singing, and crafting. My faith is very important to me. I attend church in Motley where I teach Sunday school and participate with the worship team by signing in American Sign Language the songs we sing each week. A few fun facts about me include: I have a twin brother, I have siblings who are twins, I was on Wheel of Fortune in 2011, I was an NCAA diver in college and a USAG Level 9 gymnast before that.☺
