The goal of the project:
By involving students and accompanying teachers in planned project activities, such as non-formal education, we will ensure that the beneficiaries:
adopt a sustainable way of life to counter climate change and other environmental challenges.
develop their skills in science, technology and engineering, which will help them understand the changes caused by human activity and teach them about the responsibility they have as individual citizens.
acquire the skills of active citizenship and the ability to act as responsible citizens and to participate fully in civic and social life.
Project objectives:
* Those aimed at students:
Raising awareness of sustainable development and using concrete tools to implement the real use of good practices in all educational activities, thus ensuring social equality;
Reducing early school leaving rates (almost 17%) in communities and their achievement (12%);
Promoting social inclusion, diversity and non-discrimination, supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds or with limited opportunities;
Development of critical thinking and creativity, cooperation in the field of science, technology, arts and mathematics (STE (A) M), as well as skills in areas such as climate action;
Stimulating the investigation of climate change through discussions, experiments and observations;
Active awareness of the problems generated by climate change.
* Those aimed at teachers:
to acquire new pedagogical experiences, stimulating the involvement of students in learning and increasing the performance in school results;
to contribute to the improvement of students' multicultural education, using interactive methods and with a strong impact in non-formal education.
to contribute to the extension of the European dimension in the frequently used educational system and practices, in order to ensure equal opportunities in education for students with reduced opportunities.
Target group-project beneficiaries:
a) direct: students and teachers of partner schools (participants in project mobilities);
b) indirect, as participants in the dissemination of project activities:
parents of students involved in the project;
students and teachers from partner schools;
the local community, represented by: students and teachers from other schools (with whom the school is in other local partnerships); media representatives.
Project structure:
six working meetings, with the participation of the coordinators from the partner schools in each of the 6 mobilities established in the project.
The purpose of these working meetings:
a) discussions on the planned topic in mobility, debates and exchange of ideas on good practices;
b) evaluation of the results obtained in mobility;
c) discussing important issues related to the project documents and carrying out eTwinning projects.

The expected results:
Direct project participants, students and teachers (but also those who enter the target groups as indirect participants), will acquire new skills and key competencies regarding:
o motivating students with reduced opportunities to get actively involved in the school atmosphere;
o reducing early school leaving rates in the local community;
o developing key competences, such as ICT, language and communication skills, using student-centered teaching and learning methods;
o creating a good practice guide, which teachers can use whenever they encounter a problem with students at risk;
o encouraging students' ability to work in Europe from an early age, working on language and social skills and developing an active European citizenship behavior;
o applying the European dimension to all participants, encouraging them to be open to social and cultural diversity;
o the use of ICT as an international tool for communicating, developing, evaluating and disseminating results;
o improving students 'and teachers' communication, group work skills, use of English;
o comparing teaching and learning methods, the values of education and the curriculum in order to adapt innovative teaching methods and learning methods to strategic school plans;
o strengthening communication skills between students, parents and teachers;
o To support participants with fewer opportunities we will:
o Organizing orientation meetings with students and their families (also social workers / psychologists / school counselors) to remove prejudices;
o Prioritization of students from families with low socio-economic status in the activities and mobilities of the project;
o Creating an equal learning environment, providing students with the tools needed to complete project-related tasks (such as laptops, internet connection, etc.);
o Involving students with various learning disabilities (eg dyslexia, hearing disabilities, associated disabilities) in the production of project materials and results through graphic means and computer programs, which will help them to overcome their difficulties and improve their self-esteem. sine. In addition, school counselors from each partner school will support students whenever they have problems.
o Promoting country-specific literature to cultivate tolerance for cultural differences, embracing the same emotions and the feeling of being equal.
o Creating a new European community with a common vision of a better and fairer world. This attitude will foster a sense of belonging to an important community: Europe, which will help us work together for better relationships between families, classmates, teachers and students, neighbors and other members of our community.
1. Intangible results:
All participants will be more aware of innovative teaching and learning techniques, the education system of each partner country, STEM activities, environmental campaigns and will contribute to a better cultural and educational understanding.
Students will expand their language skills, digital and communication skills and promote international friendship.
Students at risk of dropping out of school will improve their school grades and participation in courses (in terms of qualifications and number of absences).

All project activity will be based on combating climate change with a multidisciplinary approach organized around indoor / outdoor activities and learning sessions.
The impact of the project:
a) at the level of the school involved in the project and of the local community:
• training / development of transversal key competencies, priority being: ›learning to learn; ›Awareness and cultural expression on climate change; ›Social-civic (empathy, solidarity, tolerance);
• rethinking the way of managing free time and for ecological purposes;
• the school involved ensures the refresh of its positive image in the community;
• the students involved in the project, together with the guiding teachers, will “remove” from the anonymity the community to which they belong;
• optimizing the educational policies in the school in favor of inclusive education, for the development of young people as future active citizens for the environment.
b) at European level:
• cultural promotion of the traditional civilization of the localities, regions / states involved in this project;
• establishing lasting friendships between students participating in mobility and creating bridges of educational inclusion by continuing the partnership and in projects on the eTwinning platform.
