College: I attended Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. I am a huge NC State fan and have been all of my life.

Teaching experience: Seven years at Voyager Academy (four years at VAMS; threeyears at VAHS); Previously taught at Kestrel Heights Charter School, Neal Middle School, Chewing Middle School, and East Wake Middle School

Family: I reside in Durham with my husband and 2 children who graduated from Voyager and now attend NC State.

Favorite candy: peanut M&M's, reeses peanut butter cups, and snickers

Favorite drinks: Coke and sweet tea

Favorite restaurants: Maggianos, Los Tres Magueyes, Chipotle, any pizza place

Other interesting facts: I am allergic to fresh fruits and vegetables. I do not drink coffee. I love the beach and Hawaii.
