Middle School Service Hours

Cafeteria

5th, 6th, 7th Graders-

Wipe tables and chairs when tables are cleared.  Stack chairs on top tables. Sweep the floors between the rows.

1 hour per week

Library

Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:45 - 8:10 

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 

12:50 -1 :15

Clean and organize the library.  Put books back on the shelves.  Assist Ms. Kelly as needed.

1 hour per week

Maintenance/Recess

Empty tray first in cafeteria to be first in line for recess.  

Get recess equipment from under the stairs in the gym. Collect equipment after recess and put back under stairwell. 

Put cones out for recess if needed.

Help to set up or tear down before or after a school event as needed.

1 hour per two weeks

Tech Support

Assist Mr. Kocke if needed for any technology assistance.

1 hour as help is needed

Clarion Herald

7th Only 

Count and distribute Clarion Heralds.  This is done once every two weeks during break time. Mrs. Dawn in the office will give instructions. 

This service schedule will last for 2 weeks and is worth 1 hour

Canned Good Collection

6th Only 

Collect canned goods from Pre K and K homerooms on Monday mornings.  Place them in the cart in the stairwell by the office and bring them to church on Wednesday.  Stand by the doors in church and help collect the canned goods as classes walk in. Walk through the church to check pews after each school Mass. Take back the shopping cart and any baskets left in church.

Ice Bag Filler

Go to the office every morning at 7:45 to get the ice bowl and ice bags.  Fill the ice bowl in the gym kitchen.  See Mrs. Dawn in the office.

Silverware (Cafe AM)

5th Grade

Wrap Silverware- roll fork/spoon/ straw in napkin for Pre K classes.  This is done at 7:45 daily.

Peer Tutor

(7th Grade Only)

7th graders will be assigned a student in need of academic help to work with throughout the year. Tutoring will be help in the mornings from 7:40-8:10.
