LET'S BE SHERLOCK

ABOUT THE PROJECT

This is a project of exchange of information and collaboration among 4 schools from Turkey, Spain, Greece &France

It contains a series of activities through which students will work as detectives on the topic of the well-known literary figure of Sherlock Holmes, delve deeper in the works of Sir Arthur Connan Doyle and on the films and serials inspired by his work. Using deductive methods, students will learn about each other and their countries and cultures and they will also create collaborative stories and case-solving activities.

It will develop the key competences: communicative competences in the mother tongues and foreign languages; digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and cultural conscience and expression.

The methodology will be mainly participative and highly collaborative. with the use of new methodologies such as PBL, gamification and flipped classroom, with the aim of enhancing the 4 skills.

AIMS

- use the ICT to create, communicate, exchange information and collaborate online;

- develop writing, listening, reading and writing skills in English as a foreign language;

- research and learn about Sherlock Holmes;

- learn how to find solutions to problems

- develop key competences through a series of motivating activities;

- Create a European identity by learning about other countries and cultures, and infer in their own.
