The Department of Psychology is committed to excellence in undergraduate education. Our faculty and students are expected to be competent and ethical professionals committed to the science of psychology and its application to real-world situations. Our educational program provides a foundation for the scientific understanding of behaviour and mental processes. I like the way our teachers taught us. They don't just make study easier for us but also very fun to understand, which is very much required for our growing personality & bright future. I remember the day when we were asked to do a power point presentation in a group, at first we were nervous but the way our teaches support us it was really a very knowledgeable & fun experience, the poster making, the personality test activities, were also so much memorable experience for us as till date we remember it with full of joy. I like the way the department focuses not only on the studies but also the student grasp the knowledge with fun & interesting way, hence its a memorable experience to be part of it.

Our teacher was very open to us exploring new activities and allowed us to fully express ourselves. The lectures were interactive and really interesting. The department was active, and would regularly have new and creative activities.

Psychology is such a rare subject in India & it's difficult to give it recognition. It's not an easy task. I remember our teacher saying that though Psychology is started in Western countries, it's not necessary it should applied there only. Also Personally, I believe Mental Health is a taboo in our country. We need to focus now, "If not now, then when?". During Pandemic many people saw and released what is mental health. So It's my fortune that, I can pursue Psychology out of Mumbai. Also, I'm grateful that our teacher tries to uplift the activities for Psychology department.
