Polyhouse visit at Vartak Food and Beverages

Vartak Food And Beverages is located in Shirsad, Virar East. The polyhouse facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to create an optimal environment for plant growth. The polyhouse structure comprises durable materials with efficient ventilation systems and automated climate control mechanisms. The visit to Vartak Food And Beverages provided valuable insights into the application of polyhouses in modern agriculture. Peer to peer learning Basics of microbial techniques
The students of third year Biotechnology have organized a peer to peer learning on basics of microbial techniques. The basic microbiology laboratory techniques include aseptic techniques, culturing techniques, enumerating bacteria, and identifying different classes of microorganisms. These techniques form the base of advanced research and experiments performed on microorganisms. This would give a platform for advanced learners and learning for slow learners.

Invited to give a talk on “Brain, Sex and You". The talk dealt with how we live in a gender binary society where the sex of the baby is decided right at birth and that individual is expected to follow the socially and culturally prescribed roles of that gender. However, beyond physical qualities, profound differences are seen in the behavior and cognitive traits of men and women suggesting that there might be differences in their brain as well. Putting forth the concept of the brain sex, we ask the questions why and when should these differences arise in the brain? Can the brain decide the sex of the individual?
