Here at Vitality Academy we offer several competition streams to suit everyone! Please see below our competition team categories. 

ALL STAR

All Star is the name for our All Star Cheer and Dance competition classes here at Vitality. These teams are entry by audition and complete 1-2 routines in their class time depending on the team. All Star teams also compete at 3 cheer/ dance competitions per year.

ACADEMY

Academy is the name for our stage competition classes here at Vitality. These teams are entry by audition and complete 3 routines in their class time. Academy classes also compete at 3 stage competitions per year.

TEAM

Our Team classes are specific to the genre of Hip Hop, for those who would like to compete in both stage and all star competitions. These teams will compete 4 times in total and learn 1 routine for the season

2026 COMPETITION TEAM AUDITIONS

It's Audition time! Our 2026 Audition Day will be held on Saturday the 6th of December at VA HQ! All athletes wanting to compete with VA will take part in a structered audition where we will be assessing skills for each style and age group, along with a powerful combination. Before signing up o register please note the following: 

Each competition team has pre-requisite classes that will need to be met in order the the athlete to participate in the team. These include:

• All-Star Jazz, Lyrical and Pom Teams must be enrolled in a Jazz and Ballet class.

• Academy Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary teams must be enrolled in a Jazz and Ballet class.

• Hip Hop teams must be enrolled in a recreational hip hop class. 

• Cheer and Acrobatic teams must be enrolled in a tumbling class. 

This is to ensure our athletes maintain their skills and have every opportunity to improve throughout the competition season!
