Piping Design Engineering course has started in 2001. Course has USP of all industrial experienced faculty with experience of 15-30 years teaching their expertiese topic.
We have graduated approx. 100 batches, in last 18 years, approx. 5000+ piping engineering graduates who are excelling in respective fields of Piping. Our graduates are working in all leading EPC MNC reputed organisation e.g. Praj industries, Petrofac, ACER, Jacobs, L&T, THermax, Kirloskar, Triplan, Burn and Mcdonals, ALfa laval, Technische, SUEZ, Technimont, Billfinger etc.

What is Piping Engineering?
Every process plant needs a piping system to be designed with care
The performance of plant depends on efficient transport of process fluid through the pipes according to material and energy balance for a process and this requires a systematic analysis and engineering design methods.
Over the years many such standards and practices for piping system design have evolved and by itself is a major engineering science.
Every engineering and construction company will then need trained manpower to design a piping system.
To impart this initial training is our objective in starting this autonomous course
Scope of Work & Responsibilities of Piping Engineer
The piping department of an engineering and construction company generally begins with the piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
Process department prepares process flow sheet, which begins with the chemical reaction and after carrying out material and energy balance and equipment selection, which is further utilized to prepare a first version of P&ID.
This means that one can now begin actual plant design. Going through steps of plot plan and equipment layout, the next step is to start designing piping system for material transport.
In our course, we will be adopting a building block concept, where we will begin with pipes selected by line sizing and hydraulics of pumps and compressors used to transport material. These pipes are “connected” using pumps and compressors, add to it the valves, safety devices, measuring instruments and control components and first rough sketch of piping structure would be over.
However a scientific and systematic approach is developed over the years and design codes and practices evolved are used to go through a step-by-step procedure to come up with a piping system structure.
Learning this systematic science is the aim of this course. No such structure will be approved by engineers unless its stress analysis is done including stress at the connecting components such as nozzles, flanges, pipe supports and so on.
We will be using pipe stress software to find if designed structure can sustain static, dynamic and combined stresses
General flowcharts for piping design procedures in parts at least are provided during the actual exercises.
Thus, process and piping are becoming a major force in engineering, procurement and construction (epc) companies as part of Engineering IT culture being developed and justify a growing need for qualified engineers to take up this profession.

CAESAR II : 50 hours of extensive training on project execution, from scratch to good level of understanding (Step by step training)
AutoCAD : Extensive 40 hours of training with basics and PFD, PUD, P&ID practice
PDMS/SP3D : 3D Layout extensive training 50 hours.
Next batch admission registration process has started and physical batch will start 9 Nov. 2024.
Special condition for Covid Pandemic like cases reoccuring for Batches
1. If course has to be halted or stopped because of any unavoidable situation e.g. Corona pandemic, where situation is beyond control of institute then students are encouraged to wait and finish the course in next batch after things are functional.
2. In case student wants to cancel the admission foreseeing the uncertainty of unavoidable situation the refund policy will be as follows.
3. If course has to be halted or stopped before starting of classes then 18% GST of paid fees will be reduced and remaining amount will be refunded.
4. No refund will be applicable after starting of the course, whereas course will be compensated and completed in immediate next batch.

3. Is hostel facility available?
Answer: Yes we have tie up with private hostel 5-10 min walk from campus. After confirmation of registration for course we can share hostel details with you.
4. Is there special food arrangement for South Indian students?
Answer: Yes, We have found that students from South India miss their rice based food as in Maharashtra meal contains Chapati,rice, dal , subji. We have convinced one mess to speacially make South Indian rice(Rice is available in Pune) and curry so South Indian students can complete course happily.
