TECHNICAL

As a chapter focused on renewable energy and sustainable technology, the main goal of having a technical team is to impart knowledge about the various renewable energy technology among it’s members through a series of activities, tests, study sessions and projects. Not only, just theoretical knowledge about these technologies but also lot of emphasize is given on building up skills for doing projects. The most important way of learning here is considered by doing projects on current industry relevant problems.

Some of the most important skills that are emphasized upon here are

• CAD modelling using Fusion360, or Solidworks.

• Problem solving and machine modelling in MATLAB and MATLAB Simulink.

• FEA and CFD simulations in Ansys.

Another very important aspect of technical team is to initiate students into research papers. Board members of our chapter consistently keep communicating with faculties and provide research paper opportunities to students. Many of our AEE alumni have successfully completed and published their research papers in esteemed journals in fields of renewable energy which they did by being a part of the technical team.
