Welcome to the Vista Innovation & Design Academy's Counseling site. As counselors we are dedicated to helping young people reach their full academic, career, and personal/social potential. As a result, we seek to develop in students the attitudes, skills, and body of knowledge that are necessary to pave the way for their success. Please join us in encouraging, assisting, and supporting the growth of our children to that end.

The VIDA Counseling program aims to support students' academic, career, and social/emotional development. Academic Development – VIDA Counselors seek to implement strategies and activities to support and maximize each student’s ability to learn. Career Development – VIDA Counselors seek to help students 1) understand the connection between school and the world of work and 2) plan for and make a successful transition from school to post-secondary education and/or the world of work and from job to job across the life span. Social/Emotional Development – VIDA Counselors seek to help students manage emotions and learn and apply interpersonal skills. Note: In order to effectively provide services to all of our students, a student's first contact should be with a counselor. If a counselor is not immediately available, your student should email their counselor to let them know there is a need.
