Provided Coffee and food for Coffee with the Principal 10 events Sep thru May. Thanks to Donations from Starbucks, Dunkin, Jersey Mike’s, YumYum Doughnuts, Lamppost Pizza & Pizza and More

Worked with local restaurants, coffee and doughnut shops to donate food, coffee & doughnuts to support the Welcome Back Breakfast for The Staff in October and January. Special Thanks McDonalds, Starbucks, Danny’s Doughnuts, Silver back Breakfast, Coyote Café, Albertsons, Sprouts, Stater Brothers, & Pegah’s Kitchen

Put on 14 family night fundraisers. $800.00 was raised

Received $350 in gift cards donations from a local Target and Costco

Attended and provided beverages for the Staff Holiday Party

Supported iApplied Application Day for senior hosted by VHS Counselors by providing Prizes, drinks and snacks. Special Thanks to Target, McDonalds, & Chick Filet

Healthy Minds: Health and Wellness Program: VHS applied for and was awarded a grant to develop to support a "Healthy Minds Program" to support the health and wellness of our community!

1. In November National PTA - Health Minds Grant - VHS PTSA was awarded a grant for $1,250 through National PTA to implement the Health Mind Program at Vista.

2. January Hosted our First Healthy Minds 101 Learning Session

3. February 5-9th Celebrated the Counseling Staff during National Counselor Week with Coffee and Doughnuts on Tues/Thurs and Lunch on Wednesday

4. February Hosted PTA Healthy Minds: Building Social and Emotional Skills at Home jointly with Mission Vista PTSA

5. Applied for Ninth District $1000 Grant for Healthy Minds which was funded on February

6. March Hosted PTA Healthy Minds: Building Resilience

7. March Hosted Question, Persuade Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention Training

8. April Hosted Healthy Minds: How To Talk To Your Teenager

9. Participated in the RBV Health & Wellness Community Fair in April

10. Using Healthy Minds Grant Funds Sponsored the Buddies Prom and hosted Special Needs Parents Meet & Greet

Approved and dispersed $2,400 in requests for Classroom, Club and Sports Grants from VHS staff, directly benefiting students

3. Black Rock – 10 $10 Gift cards

4. Flippin Pizza – 25 gift Cards for free slice of pizza

Sponsored the Senior Banquet with Starbucks Coffee and Water

Introduced Honorary Service Award to Vista High and gave out 9 awards for six categories for the class of 2024.
