Try a POWER REFRESH as shown in the image to the right before you come to the textbook/device window. Note that some Chromebooks have their power button to the side instead of on the keyboard like shown below.

1) SIGN OUT and TURN OFF your computer ALL THE WAY.
2) Press the REFRESH and POWER button at the same time for 20 SECONDS.

Try to PROMPT AN UPDATE as shown in the image to the left before you come to the textbook/device window.

1) Select SETTINGS from the computer menu in the BOTTOM LEFT of your screen.
2) Click on the ABOUT CHROME OS.
3) Click on CHECK FOR UPDATES and follow the directions.

CLEAR THE COOKIES & CACHE as shown in the images to the left.

1 & 2) Select CLEAR BROWSER CACHE from the VISTA UNIFIED bookmark folder in the upper left hand corner of your browser screen.
3 & 4) Click on the ADVANCED tab and select ALL TIME from the TIME RANGE drop down menu.
5 & 6) Click on all the data checkboxes you can click on and click on DELETE DATA when finished.
