Welcome to 6th Grade Humanities!

What is Humanities? In Humanities core we will be studying English Language Arts and History. For English, we will be guided by the 6th Grade California Common Core standards and will expand student's reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. We will build these skills as we dive into Ancient Civilizations. We will look at their cultures, governments, agricultural systems and social structures. Throughout every lesson, students will also be developing and deepening their problem solving, critical thinking and collaboration skills.
