VVA Families,
We made it through out state testing window and are able to go back to normal for this last full month of the semester. Please remind your students to stay focused and dedicated during these last 4.5 weeks of the school year! As we start planning our end of year celebration and graduation, please know that we are so proud of our students as they have worked hard throughout the year. For interested students and families, summer school information should be coming out very soon. Reach out to your student's advisor if you have any questions or concerns going into the next 4.5 weeks.
Attendance Matters!
How do you get attendance at VVA?
Attendance is based off how much work you are doing. To gain attendance you need to be attending school a minimum of 240 minutes a day. This includes the time you spend in advisory, working out, and your one one one meetings. Unfortunately logging in and not doing work does not count as attendance. Please speak to your advisory for specific questions you may have. We will be working with a new system called Pathways to integrate a more consistent attendance process.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Since its inception in 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month has been a cornerstone of addressing the challenges faced by millions of Americans living with mental health conditions. Throughout the month, NAMI actively participates in this national movement, dedicated to eradicating stigma, extending support, fostering public education and advocating for policies that prioritize the well-being of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
