Goals for Spanish Learning

It is my goal that each student learn the correct pronunciation of Spanish sounds, letters, words and phrases.  Additionally, each student should learn between 300 and 500 new words in the Spanish language and be able to use these words in real-life situations as they travel through this year of their education.    They will be able to speak in sentences and express themselves as the year progresses.   Spanish is a second language for our students and it is a language they will find in many places all around them.  I want each of our students to appreciate the Spanish culture; and they will do active- learning projects which will help them to come to this awareness of culture.
