While 3rd grade does not have a formal grading system for Physical Education, students are still expected to demonstrate the same levels of participation, effort, and sportsmanship as in the upper grades.
Physical Education Grading Policy (Grades 4–8)
Students in grades 4 through 8 are graded on a scale from 1 to 4 in Physical Education based on the following criteria:
4 – Demonstrates consistent participation, listening skills, strong effort, and good sportsmanship
3 – Participates regularly and shows solid effort

1 – Refusal to participate
