About the Teacher

Welcome! My name is Mr. Mellon and I teach Junior High Science here at Visitation BVM.

I grew up in Plymouth, PA,  attended Epiphany of Our Lord, Archbishop Kennedy High School, and later earned a B.A. in Biology from at Lycoming College. I also earned my Master's Degree at Cabrini College in Elementary Education.  I taught high school for one year at Fauquier County High School in Va. and then four years at Valley Forge Military Academy. I taught one year of middle school in the Bensalem School District followed by 28 years of middle school in the Pennsbury School District.

I'm very excited to be a part of the Visi family and I'm looking forward to a great year with my new students.
