Ms. Sherry Wang
M.M. National Taiwan Normal University
With over 20 years of experience, Ms. Sherry Wang inspires students of all ages and abilities, from enthusiastic beginners to aspiring music school students. She fosters a love of learning by encouraging exploration and creativity at the piano. Her annual student recitals, with specific themes, provide performance opportunities for students to challenge themselves and share their musical journeys with family and friends.
Ms. Wang's dedication to her students extends beyond performance. She emphasizes the importance of strong foundational skills, patiently guiding them in developing good practice habits for long-term success. Her commitment has resulted in numerous students achieving high results in piano exams and international competitions.
A 1st prizewinner at the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) piano concerto competition, she was also awarded "Bach New Voices" and performed at the renowned Bach Hall. Her passion for music expands to composition, with published chorus works and a second-place finish in the "Hakka New Songs" competition. She also serves as a piano accompanist for the Hsinchu Philharmonic Chorus further demonstrates her versatility.
Finished most of the professional training in Taiwan, she ever got the offer in Manhattan school of music, New England conservatory of music, Peabody Conservatory of music for graduated study and Michigan State University for DMA further graduated study.
In 2023, Ms. Wang moved to California, simultaneously, debuting her original composition, "The Magnolia" at the Union Church of Cupertino.
