Hello students and families!

Materials that will be needed for Art for the 2020-2021 school year:

• 2 pocket folder specifically for Art - this is so you can transport artwork and worksheets back carefully and ensure you are always prepared

• #2 Pencil (just like in class, mechanical pencils are fine to use, but if we are doing any shading techniques or projects, I encourage you to have a regular #2 pencil sharpened and ready to go.

• Eraser

• 1 pack of Crayola Colored Pencils (12 minimum pencils inside) or any other set of 12 you may like to use

• 1 Set of Classic Color, Crayola Washable Markers (10 minimum markers inside)

• 1 Ultra Fine and 1 Fine BLACK Sharpie

• A ruler

• A pair of scissors

• Glue stick

• Please be sure to have paper at home!

  • Purchasing a sketchbook is optional. Actual drawing paper we would use in class is optional. HOWEVER you must have blank white computer paper at home, that is acceptable.Working on lined paper is not acceptable. If you need paper, please reach out to me. If you are able to purchase a sketchbook of drawing paper, please do so!

While we are working on projects virtually, should you have other supplies at home for example: watercolors, paints, oil pastels etc and want to try to project with something other than colored pencil, please feel free to do so, but reach out so we can have a conversation!!

***Students will be expected to come to and from home and school with these basic supplies in a large Ziploc with their FIRST and LAST name written on it.

If you are struggling to attain any of these supplies please be specific on which ones and I can help.

Your student will be responsible for any and all activities/lessons/conversations within your google classroom daily. Attendance will be taken daily. I always expect that each and everyone one of my students will try their best and always ask questions throughout class.
