Japanese Calligraphy

In the 2025-2026 school year, Ms. Graessle anticipates working with Kazuko Omori in May/June.

We will create art based on traditional Japanese techniques, learn Japanese greetings and hear folktales that tie into our lesson.  It's always exciting to learn about a new culture in an immersive and authentic way and Ms. Omori never fails to deliver.  This 5 day visit will be provided through the "Arts in Education" program. 

Both 6th & 7th grade students will benefit from this experience!
